On 25Jun09, at 1646 hours, Ridge RVS was dispatched for mutual aid in the area of Spring Ridge Middle School for the MVA with entrapment and one subject unconscious. Firefighters from Bay District VFD (Engine 32 and Squad 3) arrived and immediately began extrication. The patient was quickly removed and loaded into Ambulance 498, where BLS and ALS personnel worked to stabilize the patient prior transport to Trooper 4. Ridge VFD Engine 42 setup the Landing Zone just south of the accident scene. Trooper 4 transported the patient to Children's Hospital in critical condition.
