MVA sends four to hospital

At approximately 13:20, Ridge VRS was dispatched for the reported motor vehicle accident with injuries at the intersection of Three Notch Road (Rt.235) and Mattapany Road in St. James. EMS and Fire crews worked together to perform patient assessments in the two vehicles involved. There were 6 patients in all, 2 signed refusals and 4 that needed to be transported to the hospital. A total of three Ambulances transported the patients, all with minor injuries.
