Double Flyout following a head-on collision
By Lieutenant Scot Best
December 8, 2008
On December 5, 2008 at 2026 hours, Ridge VRS was dispatched to the intersection of Three Notch Road and Hermanville Road for a head-on motor vehicle collision with injuries. Engines from Bay District VFD (Co. 3) arrived on the scene and advised that one subject was lying in the roadway and would need to be flown out as a Category "A" Priority 1 patient. It was later determined by the EMS and paramedic units that a second patient would also need to be flown to a trauma center. A third patient was transported to St. Mary's Hospital by A498.
