On Aug 8th, Ridge VRS responded to St. Mary's College for the report of traumatic injuries in the area of the Public Safety Office. A498 arrived to find a female patient in and out of consciousness and requested the Medic Unit. It was reported that the patient had been struck in the head with a pole. Due to mechanism of injury, it was decided that the patient needed to be flown to a trauma center. The patient was packaged and loaded into Trooper 7 for transport to PG Shock Trauma.
