On February 18th, at approximately 2330 hours, Ridge VRS was dispatched to a motor vehicle collision on Trapp Road in St. Inigoes involving a single vehicle into a tree.

Crews from the Ridge Vol. Fire Dept. (Co. 4) and NESEA (Co. 14) arrived on the scene and advised they had a full-sized older model Ford pick-up truck into a large tree with a single unconscious patient inside. A rapid extrication of the driver was performed just as the patient regained consciousness.

Due to the severity of the accident and the condition of the patient, medical transport via MSP Trooper 7 was requested. The patient was then flown to PG Shock Trauma for his injuries.
