The fourth annual 'Cow Pie Bingo' hosted by the Ridge Volunteer Rescue Squad Auxiliary was another success! The day began cloudy, but cleared out by the time the event was slated to start. With temperatures in the low 70's, it proved to be a gorgeous day to win some money.

The judges this year were our own Eddie Boswell, former county commissioners Jack Russell & Dan Raley, and overall judge former state senator Roy Dyson. The judges were in charge of any disputed "plops" as well as determining the squares for which the plops landed. There were also many door prizes given away, including a pallet flag by Ron Bailey and a true-to-scale wooden boat by Emerick Norris.

The winners for the Bingo were:

3rd place: Mary Conner
2nd place: Dawna Wible
1st place: Charles Oertly

We would like to extend a thanks to Tom Cooper, the general manager of Rockin' Oldies 95.9 and Thunder 104.5 in Fredericksburg Va for being the MC for the fourth year of our event. We would also like to extend an additional thanks to Bubby Knott for graciously letting us use his farm for our event. Bubby has been a staunch supporter of our event every year and we greatly appreciate the use of his facility for this event.
