Ridge VRS Responds to Head-On MVA

At 1346, Ridge Volunteer Rescue Squad along with Companies 4, 14 and 39 were dispatched to the reported motor vehicle accident in the area of Point Lookout Rd and Fresh Pond Neck Road. As units started responding Fireboard advised that is was two vehicles in the roadway, reported to be head-on.

As ambulance 496 and 497 responded, Command advised 3 patients with two of those refuseing care. Ambulance 496 arrived on scene and started their assessments of the three patients. 497 arrived moments later and assisted the crew of 496.

After assessing the Patients, Ambulance 496 transported one patient Priority 2. Ambulance 497 transported one patient Priority 3 and obtained one signed refusal.
