| June 29 - Ridge VRS was dispatched to a MVC with injuries on Bay Forest Road in the St. James area. The vehicle had left the roadway, crashed and flipped, causing serious injury to at least one occupant.
A499 responded and arrived on the scene to find one occupant with injuries to the head, ribs and arm. The other occupant had fled the scene of the accident. A search of the surrounding area was performed by crews from RVFD, but the second occupant was not found.
Due to the extent and mechanism of injuries, Chief 49 George Gatton requested Trooper 7 for transport to a regional trauma center. Crews from Co49 and Co39 packaged and loaded the subject into Trooper 7. |
