One to PG Shock Trauma following motorcycle crash
By Lieutenant Scot Best
September 8, 2009
Shortly after 1700 on Sept 4th, the Ridge VRS was dispatched for the personal injury accident involving a motorcycle, in the area of St. Inigoes General Store on Point Lookout Road. Communications advised there was a single patient from the motorcycle.
Ridge VFD Rescue Engine 42 arrived and began patient care on the injured subject. RVRS crews arrived and determined the need for a medical consult for a fly-out (Category C) due to patient condition.
The patient was loaded and transported by Ambulance 497 to the landing site. The patient was flown to PG Shock Trauma by MSP Trooper 7.
