Dear Neighbor, The Officers and Members of The Ridge Volunteer Rescue Squad would like to thank you for your continued support over the past years. As you know, we have served St. Mary’s County’s First District for over 50 years and depend on the financial support of the community we serve. The Rescue Squad cannot function without your support and without the dedication of the men and women in our community. All donations are tax-deductible, as we are a IRS 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Most of the contributions that help fund the daily operations of the Rescue Squad come from private contributions. The rest comes from state and local grants, as well as a small portion from St. Mary’s County, therefore fundraising is a year-long event for us. While our mission has always been to provide the best care to our community, we cannot do so without the support of the community. Your financial support helps us fund our mission.
