The Ridge Volunteer Rescue Squad is seeking donations to restore a part of the County's history! In 1972, The Ridge VRS took delivery of a brand new Cadillac Ambulance. This ambulance served the First District for many years and was evenetually replaced with a more modern ambulance. After the 2001 Squad building fire, we were forced to move A48 outside where nature has taken its toll. Many of the rubber hoses and belts need to be replaced. The body of the Cadillac needs a large amount of rust repair done, along wirh a new paint job. The motor/transmission needs work as well. We are looking for any type of help (money, parts, labor, etc.) you are able to give.
