Motorcycle vs Tree

At 1507, Companies 4, 14, 49, 39, 38, 6 and ALS were alerted to St. Jeromes Neck Rd in the area of Shea Alley Way for a reported motor vehicle collision. Initial reports advised of a single motorcycle vs a tree. Ambulance 497 (EMT Barnes), Chief 49A (Drury) and Lt. 49A (Morris) all made the response within four minutes of dispatch.
Chief 49A was first on the scene advising of an updated location of St. Jeromes Neck Rd in the area of the sharp turn by Dan Ct. Rescue Engine 42 (Chief Raley), Ambulance 497 and Lt. 49A all arrived simultaneously and began patient care. Command advised of a single motorcycle that hit a telephone pole, with only one patient, and returned all other BLS units.
After a consult with Prince Georges Trauma Center, Trooper 7 was dispatched to fly the patient Category Charlie, Priority Two. All units returned shortly after Trooper 7 departed the scene.
